I began my search for a contractor by following businesses on FaceBook. Rust and Sawdust caught my attention right away as he published remodels before, during and after the job. His personal involvement with the project really resonated with me and my personally. From our first meeting I could tell Justin saw my vision and heard my needs for my new kitchen space and bathroom. The communication never stopped.
He emailed daily and also kept the project software app up to date. My project finished 2 months ahead of schedule. He also worked VERY HARD to insure I had a functioning kitchen for the Christmas Holiday. I welcome you to review my projects before and after photos. You will be astonished. I would recommend Rust and Sawdust for any of your remodeling needs. It’s all about the details which Justin masters with ease.

Our projects are unique, and our expectations are high. We were pleased to find Justin was the right contractor to manage both. We asked for and received realistic schedules and budgets, and we all had a great time imagining what could be. Justin is a proactive communicator and he managed our expectations related to budgets and schedules. We started in March, and had finished two independent bathroom upgrades by mid November, including a flooring upgrade in an attached space nobody had anticipated.
The longest delays involved custom shower hardware and were unavoidable. We feel the whole team respected the home’s unique design standards, worked hard to minimize the mess, stayed late or arrived early to get things done, and worked communicated clearly as often as possible. He handled our projects with grace and patience. The results speak for themselves with accessible, durable and beautifully finished, well-lit spaces that cleanly integrate into the home’s design. We look forward to working with Justin again.

We could not be happier with our bathroom renovation completed by Justin and his team. The quality of the work is excellent, and completion time was ahead of schedule.
The cost of the project was exactly as quoted. The assistance given to us by Justin and his wife was much appreciated, and the two of them helped us narrow down the many choices we had.

Our Kitchen was in need of updating and a better flow from kitchen to dining room. The countertop, backsplash and cupboards were original from when the house was built in 1976. The Rust and Sawdust ad on Facebook caught our eye and had good reviews so we figured we would check them out.
We met with Justin and then with 2 other renovators, and decided Rust and Sawdust would be the best fit. It was a great choice! Really liked the way they worked with us on the design and the estimate. Very professional yet friendly and always on top of things. Helped us wade thru the many decisions and choices and offered some great options in addition to listening to what we wanted.
Gave us a schedule and kept us updated on the progress or any changes that came up. In working with them, we expanded our project to include resurfacing the cabinets and removing the peninsula and adding an island to brighten the room and improve flow from kitchen to dining room.
The team that worked on our kitchen did quality work and at the end of the day, our kitchen was left clean and orderly. We now have a beautiful kitchen that we absolutely love! We will be spending a lot of happy times with family and friends around our new island!! Color choices, product quality and the awesome island are better than we even imagined. Highly recommend them for any renovations you are considering.

I cannot say enough good things about Rust and Sawdust Home Renovations. Justin was extremely prompt, getting back to me a few hours after initially contacting him and staying in contact during the entire project and then texting me a few days after finishing to see if we had any concerns or questions.
I appreciated all of his and Adria’s suggestions for my bath remodel and accent wall. He also completed several other repairs that needed to be taken care of.
I highly recommend Justin and am looking forward to him installing privacy panels for us in September.

From beginning to end they were easy to work with; helping to choose the right flooring for our needs, providing us with a detailed list of all the necessary supplies to get and efficiently installing the flooring.
